Once LLPs are up and running the Companies Act 1985 as amended applies to them and governs them.
New delegated legislation amending the Companies Act 2006, specifically aimed at LLPs, is scheduled for late 2009. It will affect the way all existing LLPs are run and the formation of new LLPs.
