SEMINAR OVERVIEW

TO BOOK ONLINE CLICK HERE

Virtually all corporate insolvencies involve some aspects relating to property. Very few of these are straight forward, and many of the problems are not covered in traditional insolvency courses.

Whether you are an insolvency practitioner, or you advise insolvency practitioners, lenders or landlords, or you advise clients in financial difficulties you have to understand and be able to advise on everything from rent arrears and disclaiming leases, to competing claims and charges over the same asset, to ‘fake’ mortgages and preferences.

Are you aware of the changes made to security by the Companies Act 2006; how to set aside a transaction made before the insolvency; how a floating charge may be invalidated? These and many more questions will be answered in this full day seminar, by one of the acknowledged experts in this field.

This course will explain all the intricacies to enable you to identify the salient points and competing interests, to get to the root of the problem, so that you can either take or advise on the best option in the particular circumstances.
