Why You Should Attend This Seminar

The final implementation of the key provisions of the Companies Act 2006 has made radical changes to the approach to be adopted to the company’s constitution.

Whether you are involved in company law directly (as corporate lawyers) or indirectly (as, for example, commercial conveyancers or litigators or accountants) you need to be aware of how these changes will impact on you and your clients.

The final versions of the model articles have now been published and these will be considered in detail.

This seminar will give you an understanding of how to approach a company’s objects and constitution in future, what to do about existing articles, and know when and what special articles to consider.

Main points considered

For the sake of completeness in relation to aspects of the new model articles, delegates should note there is slight overlap (c. 15 minutes) with the linked seminar on Share Capital.
